Case Study - The Royal Windsor Horse Show
Windsor Castle, the residence of the Royal Family, has been hosting the Royal Windsor Horse Show since 1943 and has done so with great success.
The RWHS is a competition for show jumping, dressage, carriage driving and endurance riding which brings people (and horses) from all over the world.
Due to the vast amount of infrastructure associated with the five-day event and limited space within the rounds, everything needs to be placed within the boundaries of the grounds and exactly where it was proposed.
CSL Surveys have been engaged as part of the pre-show build for the past 4 years, working closely with the event organisers to ensure all stands, trackways, haras fencing, seating (and just about everything else) is positioned on the ground exactly where it is intended. Using Total Stations and GPS Rovers, we are able to mark out all the locations with great accuracy.
