Case Study - Housing Development Bardsey, Leeds
Our original instruction was to produce a topographical survey of the area of land located in Bardsey, North Leeds. The area of land was an open field with a steady gradient and a watercourse running alongside the eastern boundary.
Using the latest surveying equipment and software we were able to record the specific features required by our client.
Some time later, when the design and planning processes were complete, we were engaged by the same client and tasked with setting-out on site to enable groundworks to commence.
Having completed the topographical survey previously, we used our established control stations to accurately position some permanent ground markers from which we could set-out the required points. We began by positioning the highway and drainage positions throughout the site so they could be constructed first.
